The Becklyn team are a small group of diligent individuals who are dedicated to looking after your OSHC administration needs.
The Becklyn scenario starts with the Doug and Julie story. As principals and Directors of Becklyn P/L, their story is Becklyn’s.
Julie McKenzie, Becklyn Director
Julie is a trained nurse and began working in OSHC administration after being approached by the local school OSHC committee to assist them in running their Centre. Julie has a wealth of skills in people management and interacts regularly with Committee members and Centre Directors.
Doug McKenzie, Becklyn Managing Director
Doug has a degree in accounting obtained from the University of NSW. After working for a number of large corporations in accounting and financial controller positions, including CSR, Email and Tubemakers, Doug made a decision to work for himself. He commenced contracting to businesses in the accounting area, which led to his increased involvement in the newly evolving computer arena. He then began to focus on establishing contracts and maintaining small business computer networks, before moving into the programming space, which included both design and writing. This experience gave Doug the ability to write Becklyn’s own OSHC software which is used today.
Roslyn Doyle, General Manager
Roslyn has a degree in Early Childhood Education obtained from Macquarie University, and came to Becklyn in 2010 with over 6 years of Childcare, accreditation and OSHC Director Experience.
Roslyn’s expertise is in NQF & her centre based experience ensures she can assist directors in daily functions at the service.
