The Excellent Becklyn Staff
Obviously, the Becklyn scenario starts with the Doug and Julie story. As principals and Directors of Becklyn P/L, their story is Becklyn’s.
Julie McKenzie, the nice Becklyn Director is a trained nurse by trade and was approached by the local school OSHC committee because she was just coming back into the work force after raising her two children to school age.
Doug McKenzie, the other Director, completed his accounting degree at the University of NSW, and after several accounting and financial controller jobs with the larger firms, CSR, Email and Tubemakers decided to work for himself. Contract work at first in the accounting area, which eventually lead to increased involvement in the newly evolving computer arena. Contracts establishing and maintaining small business computer networks was followed by programming design and writing.
Jodie Buddle, Office Manager, joined the organisation, in September 1997. Coming from a background of office administration, Jodie joined Becklyn to almost double the employee numbers and now has taken on every facet of the business operations. Jodie oversees the rostering and control of our 7 staff members.
Rhonda Fazzolari, joined the Becklyn crew in February 2001. Coming from a banking background, Rhonda originally took over all Becklyn’s banking and receipting responsibilities, and whilst keeping those duties, has added all the other functions to become assistant Office Manager.
Sarah Middlemiss, has recently joined Becklyn, and is currently undertaking a Marketing Degree at University. Sarah has account manager responsibilities for 8 of our centre administration functions and doubles as the companies Marketing manager.
Andrew McKenzie, currently studying a Science Degree at Sydney University, is our Information Technology officer, responsible for all computer and telephone gear, both at our Eastwood and Canberra offices and onsite at the Centres.
