However, with the complexities of managing an OSHC centre there may be a need to also review associated operations and procedures to ensure we obtain a full picture and can subsequently provide suitable OSHC solutions and recommendations.

Generally, daily operations will not be disrupted, but there may be times when specific staff or departments will be needed to participate in meetings or fact finding surveys, potentially requiring some alternative scheduling or even activity monitoring.

The length of time our outside school hours care consultants will require differs greatly for many reasons. Initially it will depend on the scope of the work required and, subsequently, on any further actions needed to successfully complete the discovery process. A firmer time-frame can then be determined and agreed upon.

The initial stages of any OSHC and OOSH consultancy engagement tend to be based on in-depth discussions with centre management to determine the centre's specific goals and requirements. However, there may be a requirement to review policies and practices that will require we gain access to additional staff knowledge and documentation.

Due to the nature of OOSH and OSHC and the differing management models and range of services offered by each centre, there really isn't such a thing as a "typical" engagement.
